These don't aspire, of course, to replace paid speech or accent specialists--or even very proficient English speakers that are "best friends" with language learners. On the CDs, native-speaker voices of various ages and accents provide models for learners to hear again and again, to repeat aloud, and to compare with their own ways of saying things.
