PhonicSpelling Everyday Spelling Workbooks are most effective and efficient when the auditory sections (marked with an Audiotape Logo in the text) are read aloud according to the Tapescript and/or heard from a clearly pronounced audio source. In fact, some portions of the program, especially the stories, can hardly be completed without listening to auditory material. To simplify use of the PESW package, motivated or independent learners might want to purchase their own copies of the three CDs to use with the text on their own. These will enable them to work at their own pace and at times of their own choosing. They can find, play, and repeat the sections they need to hear again and again, at any volume that helps.
